WIP Wednesday

Short but sweet today.

I’m about to rip the heel out on the second Jules sock for the third time (I didn’t take notes when I did the first heel – bad knitter), so no photo-progress of that.

The Birch stole has had another tier added:

This is what it looks like when it's not all pinned out.

But the most progress has come on the Honeybee Cardigan:

Total progress (oof, those sleeves need blocking)

Here’s the maths planning I did to get the lace panels in the right places:

I may have used a calculator (just to double-check my figures, obviously. I still have my pride!)

Well, that wasn’t very short, was it? Moving on ….

Since you saw the progress on the Birch stole yesterday, it’s omitted here.
The sleeves of the Honeybee cardigan are coming along nicely:

Sleeve 1 done and sleeve 2 underway

And I’m about to have a second attempt at turning the heel on the second Jules socks:

1st sock done and 2nd sock up to the heel.

The Duotone Cowl is doneski, so look out for that on an FO Friday soon.

My two main WIPs are the Jules socks for my dad

First sock done and second one started

and the Honeybee Cardigan for my mum

1st sleeve in progress - I've modified it to be from the wrist, not the elbow as in the pattern.

No progress on the Birch entrelac stole, so no photo needed!

Over the weekend I started two new projects; one to replace my “TV Knitting” Duotone Cowl and I’ve finally cast on for my mum’s Honeybee Cardigan.
