UFO Tuesday

UFO Tuesday

Spelled correctly this week! (oops)

So, here’s last week’s UFO project, the Iznik, I Heart You shawl 7 days ago:

I Heart Iznik shawl status as of 31st March 2015

And here’s the progress I’ve made (colour is more accurate in this photo than last week’s)

Pinned out one half to show the patterning slightly better. As of 7th April 2015.

Closer shot of the number of rows I’ve done, as indicated by the blue stitch marker:

I think 7 days is all I can manage on this (it takes a great deal of concentration and I’m increasing 6 sts every other row so it’s only going to get harder!), so I’ve switched to another long-languishing UFO.

Introducing the Advent Scarf/Stole from 2010!

Days 1 - 19 complete. As of 7th April 2015

Oh look, it’s a big lump of lace! I’ve only got 4 “days” of pattern to go so I’m not quite sure why this stalled. I intend to press on and try and get it finished this week or next.

So, how are your UFOs progressing?

That’s another 3 rows. Honest!

UFO Friday

UFO Friday

Well, now I’ve got the Winter 2015 commissioned knitting done I’ve turned back to my abandoned projects! My aim is to work on one or two each week until I’ve finally finished them. Or made up my mind to abandon them all together (already done that this year).

So, the first UnFinished Object to be resurrected is the “Iznik, I heart you” shawl I started back in … woah … March this year!

Paused mid-row 55 (Clue 2)

As you can see, I paused mid-row to photograph my progress. Or lack of it.

Just got to keep plugging away, I suppose!
