WIP Wednesday

WIP Wednesday

Short but sweet today.

I’m about to rip the heel out on the second Jules sock for the third time (I didn’t take notes when I did the first heel – bad knitter), so no photo-progress of that.

The Birch stole has had another tier added:

This is what it looks like when it's not all pinned out.

But the most progress has come on the Honeybee Cardigan:

Total progress (oof, those sleeves need blocking)

Here’s the maths planning I did to get the lace panels in the right places:

I may have used a calculator (just to double-check my figures, obviously. I still have my pride!)

Well, that wasn’t very short, was it? Moving on ….

  1. I’m confused. In Tuesday’s post the stole was an aqua colour. Now it’s a pretty browny, plum, green sort of colour. It’s very pretty whichever it is! It also reminds me that I need to pick up my entrelac scarf in Noro that’s been on the needles for several years. I bought the yarn when I still lived in the UK and this is our 10th year in France!

    1. Ah. Blame my phone’s camera and some “interesting” lighting for the colour change. I’ll try and remember to photograph it with my proper camera at some point to get the real colour shown.
