Happy Saturnalia

Well … that was …. unintended.  I thought I’d better have another post here before the year ended otherwise it might look like I just dropped off the face of the earth.

I’ve drafted and written and re-written several posts over the months but just couldn’t summon up the energy or desire to actually put finger to keyboard.

It hasn’t been particularly good around at dyedinthewool Towers lately. The long-and-the-short of it is the last 12 months caught up with me and bashed me repeatedly over the head with a giant mallet. Yeah.

So, good days and bad days and I’m trying to take it one moment at a time.  I’m hoping to be well enough on the 7th of January to be able to go into Manchester and have a day-time knees-up with some of the local knitters (haven’t asked yet, but consider this an invitation!).

I hope to be back to regular blogging soon and I do have some finished objects to show you as well as some works in progress.

Tatty bye!

  2. Hope you start feeling better soon. I have had similar issues and have even let my paid-for blog service lapse. I’ve been planning on starting a new blog with a free provider for a while now. Maybe I’ll get around to it when the kids are back at school.

  3. Bah Humbug, 2011 wasn’t a good year health-wise for quite a few people. Glad you are rallying and the prospect of a knitting outing is a good motivator!! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year, hope 2012 is a good one for you.
