yes there are riots and “civil disturbance” in Manchester (and other cities in England) but I don’t actually live in the city centre; I’m a semi-rural gal. A few people have, rather kindly, been concerned about my safety. Unless the suburban cats gang together or the arable farmers decide to up pitchforks, I’ll be OK.
In rather more exciting news, Taygete is blocking AS I’M WRITING THIS so be on the look out for a Finished Object post soon.
No fair!! All the shops near me are shut so no ice cream. Grr.

I am SO glad you are fine, I have kind of been avoiding the news for the last few days. I find it hard to believe that there can be such violent riots and thuggery. We’ve had one kind of riot a few years ago in Cronulla but that’s about it. We have protesters who chain themselves to things though!! Hope you have clear access to choc-ices- looks like a giant Eskimo Pie to me, and that your blocking is successful!!
