After casting on in June I’ve finally finished the first Boudica sock!
Medium (285 x 500)/Large (600 x 1053)
Woooooooohoooooooo! đŸ˜€
So, in another 8 or 9 months time, I should have a finished pair of socks!
Think that’s optimistic pessimistic? Look what I just cast on:
Medium (500 x 238)/Large (800 x 380)
It’s an Ann Budd sock from the Summer 2007 issue of Interweave Knits and I’m going to put it in for the March Sockdown on Ravelry. If I manage what I did with the Hedera socks, I should have them done by the end of April (fingers crossed).
I should mention I’ve nicked the needles from the Boudica socks to make these, so I really can’t work on those until I’ve finished these!
I love how the colour is working out. I really does look like the sea off the coast of Devon – lucky really, because the colourway is called … Devon!
Oh, and happy St. David’s Day (if this is still the 1st of March for you and you’re Welsh!)

I have no idea what the Devon sea looks like, but I can now imagine it!! No big St David’s Day celebrations here, a distinct lack of leeks and pasties!!!
