Dyed in the Wool

Crafting in north-west England

FO: Snapdragon tam and mittens

Ooooh, she knit something in purple. I’m shocked. Shocked I tell you.

(sorry about the relatively poor quality of the photos – I’m knee-deep in curtain poles, screwdrivers and plaster dust!)

The colour of the hat is way off – it’s a much deeper purple that this.

  1. LOVE that hat! I had it on a possible to-do list for my mum, who has requested a beret, and thought maybe too floppy, but it actually doesn’t look like it. Looks like it might be perfect.

    • Not too floppy at all. The cables make a really firm fabric and it isn’t too slouchy at all. Plus it’s an excellently written pattern.

  4. Ooh! Super cute set! Ysolda has very lovely designs and that purple is a gorgeous color to choose for them. I am a bit sad to think it’s winter time though…Well that’s pretty darn relative where I am, but you know what I mean :)
